Pointe Collage

What I believe is the strongest part of my work is the blending of different things together. When you first look at this photo it looks like there is only pointe shoes. But if you look at it again, you can also see things like a window and a mac and cheese incorporated into the shoes. I think what I can improve on in this work is alignment. The shoes are not centered and the yellow shadowing on the right side is not shaded right.
What I found easy about this project was placement. It did not take me long to decide where I wanted things to go and how I wanted them to blend in. I found it was challenging to actually come up with what I wanted to put in this collage. I did not want to put things in this work that I put in other work with different art class, but I found I really had no choice because I could not come up with anything to do.
By choosing different filters for the pictures I selected and morphing things into my own, I managed to create a collage of me. Everything I choose to put in this relates to me and they each have  their own story to tell. I feel like from looking at this collage, you can see parts of what make me who I am. If I could redo this project, I would take a whole different approach. I would try to make the overall picture look like more than something other than just point shoes. I would do this because I feel like it would be fun to explore a whole other style to this collage.

Composition: 3 (I know that the "X's" probably have something to do with Ed Sharon XD....But I would suggest playing with the color. It's a bit distracting and I find my I being pulled out to the ends of the piece because the green is so bright. You have great things going on with the feet and the green are kind of taking away from them. Maybe switch to a paled out blue, maybe the color of the date, kind of like an X-Ray look. This would also translate back to the color of the woman's face creating a balance and flow.)
