Blur

The strongest part of my work is my levels adjustments. I made all of these pictures much brighter or darker and brought out more details by doing this. What I can improve on is the actual pictures themselves. Some are slightly slanted and the perspective views could be better.
What was easy about this project was finding motion to take pictures of. All that I had to do was take a picture of someone walking or someone on the swings. What was difficult for me was trying to figure out which settings to use for blur and motion.
I demonstrated the objective in this project by adjusting my motion and blur pictures to make some of them lighter and darker. I took some of the blue out of the last stop motion picture and made it more yellow. If I had to do this project again, I would try to use more diverse glow sticks to create better blur images. I would also check my elves before I adjusted the colors.

The strongest part of my work is tilting and overlapping the polaroids to fit my body perfectly. Without it being too crowded together and busy, I fit the polaroids so that they frame my body. What I can improve on is color contrasts. I had a difficult time using the color adjustments for my background. I could not get the color shades quite how I wanted them to be and I could not even out the colors to make them all one tone.
What was easy about this project was figuring out what parts of my body were going to penetrate through the polaroid pictures. It was also easy to make my legs come through by using the erase tool and erasing the polaroid part that was on top of my legs. What was difficult about this project was trying to use the magic wand tool. I still struggle with figuring out how the numbers match the colors. Occasionally, instead of using the wand tool at certain points, I just used the erase tool.
I demonstrated the objective in this work by overlapping and using the color adjustments settings and erase tool to create a collage of polaroid pictures. If I could redo this project, I would change my background. I feel as though it is blotchy and it takes away from the foreground too much. I have stripes on stripes with the background and my shorts and the window blinds. I think it would have been better if I had a more solid background color.
