In this tattoo project, the strongest part of my piece is matching the color contrast of the tattoo to the color contrast of the picture. My tattoo looks realistic with the opacity lowered. I used the dodge and blur tool to make the colors not so harsh as to give the tattoo an older, more worn down effect.  What I can approve on in this project is the warp tool. I feel like the tattoo does not curve perfectly with my body and it is a little bit too slanted down.
What was easy about this project for me was finding a place for me to put this tattoo.  This is a fairly large tattoo with little details and so it was obvious that I had to have a large space to work with. What was difficult for me was working with all of the curves on my back. It was hard to warp the tattoo to bend over my shoulder blade and curve towards my arm.
I demonstrated the objective in this project by making the picture of me brighter and adjusting the contrast. I used multiple tools to blend the tattoo in with my body and make it look like this is a real picture. If I could redo this project, I would probably choose a smaller tattoo and put it in a different place. This is just because I found it very difficult, as stated before, to folio the curves of my back.

Pointe Collage

What I believe is the strongest part of my work is the blending of different things together. When you first look at this photo it looks like there is only pointe shoes. But if you look at it again, you can also see things like a window and a mac and cheese incorporated into the shoes. I think what I can improve on in this work is alignment. The shoes are not centered and the yellow shadowing on the right side is not shaded right.
What I found easy about this project was placement. It did not take me long to decide where I wanted things to go and how I wanted them to blend in. I found it was challenging to actually come up with what I wanted to put in this collage. I did not want to put things in this work that I put in other work with different art class, but I found I really had no choice because I could not come up with anything to do.
By choosing different filters for the pictures I selected and morphing things into my own, I managed to create a collage of me. Everything I choose to put in this relates to me and they each have  their own story to tell. I feel like from looking at this collage, you can see parts of what make me who I am. If I could redo this project, I would take a whole different approach. I would try to make the overall picture look like more than something other than just point shoes. I would do this because I feel like it would be fun to explore a whole other style to this collage.
